While in school I had the opportunity to study in France and gained a stronger passion for all things French pastry. Upon graduating I utilized my nutrition degree working as a chef in hospitals. It was beyond rewarding, just not in the ways I desired. I was missing the creativity and passion that brought me into food in the first place. After some persuasion from my parents I moved home and began working on opening my very own place. It has been a very interesting and at times overwhelming experience that I wouldn’t trade for the world.
